Inspired by an ancient fireplace type familiar to wilderness enthusiasts, the rakovalkea, the candleholder exudes the power of northern nature. Traditionally used as a sleeping fire, the raku fire provided a warm blanket for those staying overnight in nature, in the form of a fire burning softly through the night. So too, Rakovalkea warms the atmosphere of a home or other space as the flames of the sparkling candles glow softly.
